Homework
READING
Banded reading books are sent home across the school and are changed once a week. Please read with your child each day and sign their home/school record. Children are encouraged to read books for pleasure alongside this recorded book as it is a vital part of their learning journey and weaves through every aspect of the curriculum.
Year 1
Children will receive approximately 30 minutes of homework per week.
Spellings linked to Read Write Inc and a short task (maths, english, RE, science, topic)

Children will receive approximately 35 minutes of homework per week.
A short task based on the week’s learning (maths, english, RE, science, topic)

Year 3
Children will receive approximately 40 minutes of homework per week.
